What is 2-FA?
2-FA (or 2FA) stands for "Two-Factor Authentication". It is a security method for protecting personal information by requiring users to provide two different authentication factors to access an account. The first factor is usually something you know, like a password or PIN.
The second factor can be a 6-digit code generated by an authentication app (such as Google Authenticator). This code is created from a secret sequence of numbers (or a QR code provided to you) and it changes periodically (usually every 30 seconds) to increase security.
